Halvaran

One of those typical cantons on the edge — not incredibly sympathetic to the Inquisition or the King.

Overview

Halvaran is an edge canton a short ride from the Voss Estate. Like many outer cantons, it is not especially loyal to the Inquisition or the god-king, which made it safe enough for the party to speak openly of their plans in a tavern. The party stopped here on their way from Heron to the Voss estate.

Role in Session 04

• The party parted ways here with the survivors of Heron — Buddy, Sable, Maret, and Orvin — leaving them with Orvin, who will rebuild his network of safehouses from here.
• The party rented one-way horses in Halvaran for the ride onward.
• Orvin remains here as the party's relay contact, with a window open for messenger birds.

Status

Safe (for now). Now a haven for the Heron survivors and the seat of Orvin's rebuilding safehouse network.
