Owner of the Hollis & Ren general store in Farrow, and a believer in the Thorn and the Tooth. He wears its talisman under his collar.

Appearance

A polite, unhurried man who drifts slowly between his shelves putting stock away.

Role in Session 07

• Sold Jorath three five-day ration bundles for 6 gp. Found the order suspicious, but Jorath's lie held (EMBR chipped in with "the old circuit" around the edge).
• Said the talismans are for people who stay. Farrow is "haunted, but not by ghosts." Visitors help by spending money. Keeping the devils away is "a tax upon the people." The walls are "the children of the king," but Farrow is "the first line of defense and seemingly the last."
• Would not say who first told the town to wear the talismans. The community came to an agreement.
• Sold EMBR two talismans for his last two copper and recommended the Last Lamp.
• Froze completely at the sight of Lefty, EMBR's chitin arm, and didn't hear a word Jorath said to him.
