Mira Solbin
Twelve silver. Blinds stay down, you keep your mouths shut, and I do the talking at the gate.
Overview
Mira Solbin is a cartage-and-transit smuggler operating out of the checkpoint canton of Ashmark, near the second wall of Meranthas. Orvin pointed the party to her when they needed a way into the heavily surveilled Fold. Apathetic to the party's cause but professional and reliable, she smuggled all five of them through the Meranthas checkpoint in a wealthy traveler's carriage.
Personality
Transactional and unsentimental. She doesn't care about the resistance, Harland, or Calthar — she cares about being paid and not getting caught. Competent, calm under the eyes of the garrison, and clear about her terms. The kind of professional who is safer to hire than a true believer precisely because she has no agenda.
Role in Session 04
- Contacted through Orvin's referral after the party rode to Ashmark by night.
- Met the party at the Gateside Inn.
- Hired for 12 silver (fronted by Vivienne).
- Smuggled all five party members through the Meranthas checkpoint into the Fold in a wealthy-traveler's carriage — blinds drawn, bribe purse ready.
- Can offer inns inside the Fold that are apathetic to the Inquisition, but not sympathetic — there are no safehouses where the party is going.
Role in Session 05
- Dropped the party at a quiet tavern near the Crail Estate at roughly 6 a.m., then departed.
- Her contract appears to have ended with delivery. The party made no arrangement with her for extraction after the heist — an omission that matters now that the job has gone loud.
Relationships
- Orvin — Referral source; Orvin knew her as a reliable transit contact.
- The party — Contracted ally; delivered them to the Fold and to the Crail estate's doorstep.
Role in Session 07
- Called on again after the Crail job went loud, and smuggled the party back out through the Meranthas checkpoint to Ashmark, arriving around 3 a.m.
- Heard roughly what the party had done and was shaken. Lords are not assassinated, not recently, and how much trouble they are in depends on who saw their faces. She didn't know how bad it would get.
Status
In Ashmark. Paid, shaken, and aware that the party killed a lord of the Fold.
