Overview

An old man of Farrow who wears the sigil of the Thorn and the Tooth and seems to be recruiting for it.

Appearance

Probably in his sixties. Large rather than frail, but hunched by age. One eye is scarred and milky white. Plain tunic and trousers, with the thorn-and-tooth pendant around his neck.

Role in Session 07

• Bumped into Valdren on a street corner and introduced himself. Said Farrow needs new blood and recommended the Last Lamp.
• Knocked on Valdren's armor and told him he fights "not because you have to, because you want to."
• When called back, explained the talisman: it wards off evil spirits, people who don't wear one disappear, and nobody knows where.
• Said the king is a god who gave them the walls, but "a lot of people overestimate him. There's devils at our doorstep" — and Farrow is helping hold them back.
• Suggested Valdren get a necklace as "a good start." Called him "a smart man with good instincts." "I'll be seeing you, then."

Relationships

• Valdren Zau'tar — Took an interest in him. Valdren played along.
• The Thorn and the Tooth — A believer.

Status

Alive, in Farrow. Expects to see Valdren again.
